soft answers

A soft answer turns away wrath,
but harsh words stir up anger.
Proverbs 15:1

Oh how I wish I could master this one, especially with my kids. I continue to fail and ask the Lord for His grace. I want to learn to correct and instruct with patience and kindness instead of frustration and anger, as I so often do.

The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all and His mercy is over all that He had made.
Psalm 145:8,9

Doing wrong is like a joke to a fool,
but wisdom is pleasure to a man of understanding.

Procrastination

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
For by me your days will be multiplied,
